First Photography POV Video

By

As I’ve gotten back into photography, I ended up coming across multiple photographers on YouTube who do POV Photography videos for their channels. I was immediately enamored by this way of sharing photography because of how you see what the photographers sees in the moment versus what they capture.

Also, they’re kind of relaxing to watch.

The more of these videos I watched, the more I wanted to give it a try myself. So when my friend asked me if I wanted to go to the golf course with him to take some photos, I knew right away I wanted to try filming my own POV video, and this was the result of that morning.

Given that it’s my first time doing it, it’s not so bad. There were some moments that weren’t captured either because the angle of camera just showed the ground or my camera strap, or the camera stopped filming. That was kind of a bummer because there were a few other moments of funny commentary.

So, keeping in mind that this was my first try at this, I know I can only grow from here. This also wasn’t the best action camera to film on (an AKASO Brave 4), in my opinion anyway, because my iPhone has better image stabilization than the Brave 4.

It’ll be fun to make more of these and I can’t wait to share them!
