Fall photos are amazing, but I’ve never gotten into the “spooky” vibes kind of photos for fall photography before. I’ve wanted to, but I usually have missed my chance due to not having time or anyone to do spooky photos with.
I changed that this year.
While, technically, I didn’t have time or anyone to do a mini-session with, I made it work. I scheduled a half hour to go out to a cemetery close to where I work, and used myself as a model (something I default to, which is why I have a lot of self-portraits). This time was different though, as it was a little more difficult while being underneath a sheet to take the photos, but they came out pretty good in my opinion.

I still do wish I’d had another person or two to model for me because I feel like I could’ve gotten a little more creative with the composition and whatnot. A little more time would’ve helped as well. But I am happy with how these came out.
Here’s hoping that next year, I’ll be able to get a couple of models and play with the ghosty photos more.
Happy Halloween, everyone!
