Well hello there friends!
Thanks for stopping by. I’m Tabitha G. Kelly, though most people call me Tabby. I am currently a librarian (in-training) residing in the small state of Connecticut (for now, I’m plotting my escape). I’ve been writing fictional stories since the age of 12 when I wrote my first short story, Homework Helpers, for a creative writing assignment in middle school. I’m glad to say that I’ve come a long way in my writing skills, and am currently in the process of writing my first novel.
I am currently pursuing my Masters in Library and Information Science, which is the reason I refer to myself as a ‘librarian-in-training.’ At this point I am halfway done with my degree and hope to graduate May of 2019.
When I’m not busy with work, school, or writing it’s safe to say that you can either find a book or a camera in my hands. In the past I’ve produced a number of sports videos, but more recently I have settled comfortably into the book photography community on Instagram, otherwise known as bookstagram. I also enjoy visiting new places. A few of my favorites have been Burlington/Stowe, Vermont, Buffalo, New York, and Salisbury/Charlotte, North Carolina. One of the items on my bucket list is to visit all 50 states.
I blog regularly over at orangeowldiaries, which I started halfway through my undergraduate studies. It’s my space on the Internet where I talk about anything and everything as well as participate in fun tags and occasionally post book reviews (though I’m working to make that a more regular feature).
